My name is David and I offer home repairs and handyman services in Brandon, FL and beyond..

I’m the guy you go to when you want something done right the first time. I show up when I say I will, I communicate clearly and do my best to provide you with services that impress.

My Story

My story started way back when I was a little boy.  I always liked to take my toys, (among other things around the house) apart and put them back together.  My Mom would always say, “you always need to see where the feet grow.”  Not too sure where that came from, but there it is. 😊 From my toys, I moved up to building my own bicycles from miscellaneous bike parts I would find around town and in the garbage.  We made some “sweet choppers” back then.  Even some soapbox derby cars.

As I got older, the ripe old age of 14, I switched to auto-mechanics and building race cars.  That didn’t get me into trouble at all!!!  I focused on auto-mechanics in HS and finished top 5 in my class in NYC and became a certified NY state auto inspector.

However, God had different plans for my life and I followed in my Father and Sister’s footsteps and joined the US Navy as an Electronic Warfare technician.

After serving my country for 4 years active duty, I went into the civilian work force using both my mechanical and electronics training to work for Bell + Howell on their High-speed envelope stuffing machines.

From there I got an invite to be an Assistant engineer for Infinity Broadcasting and the Buccaneer Radio network.  That gig lasted a couple of years and opened the door to work on a long term contract at Pax TV building and cabling their automated TV stations, encompassing 65 stations across the US.  That got me introduced into The Broadcast and Audio Visual Field.

I stayed in that industry in many different capacities.  Working on many projects.  Most notably and ones that I was either crew chief or Project manager were:

• Building the new 1 Buc Palace for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We installed all the AV in that facility.
• Naval air station Pensacola TS conference rooms and classrooms.
• I then switched to my own business in AV and led the many crews we had building the new home of the Orlando Magic, “The Amway Center” where we installed 1244 different displays and the infrastructure for the system throughout the 7-story facility.
• From there I built many video walls and other Audio-Visual projects all around the Tampa Bay area.

Fast forward to today…

I am a Professional Handyman.

My life experiences coupled with owning a few homes over the years, along with working on remodeling projects at my own home, my parents, my in-laws and my son’s homes, has given me a unique skill set that allows me to repair just about anything.

Add to that, my superpower of being just a little OCD, gives me the success in this business, that I can bring to you today to help take care of those jobs and that to-do list

I continue to do this work because I enjoy working with my hands and helping people directly.

Basically, I’m just an all-around handy guy that would love to help you with your home improvements and repairs.
